You dint hear dat?
Hear what?

What dat smell?
What smell?
You dint smell dat?
Smell what?
Aaaee! Who touch me?
Mena touch you!
You dint touch me?
I an touch you!

You see dat?
See whattt?!
You dint see dat?!
No man! What you frighten so?

Who frighten?
You frighten!
I frighten? I look like I frighten? Not me, man. Cheups.



About the Author

Maggie Harris, born in Guyana, has published five collections of poetry, a memoir, short stories, and recorded 2 CDs of performance poetry including Anansi meets Miss Muffet, for children.
